What can you do to help? * PRAY-Please pray for the children. pray for the workers who are helping them. * SHARE- Do your part to help make others aware by sharing with them what you know. * GO- Plan on taking a short term missions trip or better yet, give your life to go to the nations and help! * GIVE-Please consider supporting our mission financially. Who are children at risk? * Every day children are physically, verbally, and/or sexually abused so severely in their own home that they run to the streets for safety. * Every day young children are abandoned by their parents who can no longer provide for them. * Many times children will be sold into slavery to pay off a parents debt. * Every day young girls and boys are sold into prostitution. He or she will live in fear and shame as countless men rape them daily. * They steal and dig in the trash just to survive. * To cope with the hunger pains and the deep emotional trauma that street life leaves them with, they often turn to drugs. * These children are called outcasts, orphans, and runaways. They need someone to love them and to give them hope for their future. They are precious in God’s sight and He will not abandon them. children at risk in the philippines
